Supalobby vs ChatLab: a hotel website chatbot wired to your PMS against an agent for the channels guests actually write on

ChatLab, from Kraków, is an AI agent for website chat, WhatsApp and the phone that checks availability in Mews, Beds24 or Hotres, from 48 USD per account. Supalobby answers guests on Booking.com, Airbnb and Instagram from 49 PLN per unit.

ChatLab is a general AI agent for website chat, WhatsApp and the phone, with ready connections to seven hotel booking systems and a price per account, not per unit; it suits a hotel or resort that wants to sell direct through its own website. Supalobby is an inbox and agent built for short-term rentals, with messages from Booking.com, Airbnb, Instagram, Slowhop and Aloha Camp, from 49 PLN per unit. If your guests mostly write through the portals, pick Supalobby; if they come through your site and WhatsApp and you run eight or more units, ChatLab costs less.

ChatLab is a Kraków-built AI agent for website chat, WhatsApp and the phone that checks availability in seven booking systems, including Mews and Beds24, from 48 USD a month per account. Supalobby is an AI agent that answers guests on Booking.com, Airbnb, Instagram, Slowhop and WhatsApp, from 49 PLN per unit, about 11 EUR.

Below is what each does, what it costs at one, three and ten units, and who each suits.

What ChatLab does

ChatLab sp. z o.o. is based in Kraków, Poland, and sells in English and Polish. It describes the product as an AI customer service agent covering website chat, WhatsApp, voice with a phone line, and e-mail drafts, running on ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude models. It is not built only for accommodation. The same account serves online shops, museums and real estate; ChatLab says more than 500 companies use it every month. The agent learns from your website, documents and FAQ and replies in more than 80 languages.

For hotels there is a dedicated offer, "Hotels, resorts and apartments". The agent answers questions about availability, rates and stay conditions, and steers the guest to book on your own website instead of through a portal. It reads live availability from seven systems: Zuu Works, Hotres, NFHotel, IdoBooking, KWHotel, Mews and Beds24. If you host outside Poland, Mews and Beds24 are the names to look for. The July 2026 update added Previo and Hostfully, and anything else ChatLab connects through an API during onboarding. What the agent cannot settle goes to reception with the whole conversation attached. ChatLab's example is Umili Resorts: according to the resort's marketing manager, the chatbot handles 70 percent of routine questions by itself, with 60 percent fewer escalations to the front desk and 30 percent fewer e-mails.

Email Copilot, announced on 4 March 2026, is a mailbox inside the ChatLab panel, connected over IMAP or POP3. The AI drafts replies there, and you check and send them. The phone arrived with the summer 2026 update: you attach your own number from a SIP provider to the bot, and ChatLab supplies the slot and the voice agent.

What ChatLab does not carry: messages from Booking.com, Airbnb, Instagram, Slowhop or Aloha Camp. We also found no scheduled pre-arrival messages and no SMS to guests on its pages.

What Supalobby does

Supalobby starts from the other end: the messages a guest has already sent on a portal, before or after booking. It gathers messages from Booking.com, Airbnb, WhatsApp, Instagram, e-mail, Slowhop and Aloha Camp into one inbox, one thread per guest, and answers them with an AI agent. On the Copilot plan the agent drafts and you send. On Autopilot it replies on its own, switched on per channel, behind a confidence gate: when unsure it asks you and hands the thread over. On Airbnb it drafts the reply and you send it with one click.

Website chat is part of Autopilot and quotes price and availability when you have Beddesk, HotRes or IdoBooking, where the agent also creates bookings. Without a PMS Supalobby works from day one, because Booking.com and Airbnb reservations arrive through notification e-mails. The Voice add-on, 129 PLN a month, gives the agent a Polish number and 30 minutes, then 2.99 PLN a minute, and lets it take bookings by phone. The number is Polish, which matters if your guests expect a UK or US line.

What Supalobby lacks: integrations with Mews, Beds24, IdoBooking or KWHotel, more than four verified languages (Polish, English, German and French), and any use outside short-term rentals. Pre-arrival playbooks come with the Operator plan, which is announced but not yet on sale.

Price at one, three and ten units

ChatLab prices in US dollars, per account, with no word on VAT. Supalobby prices net, per unit, in PLN. Conversions use the NBP rates of 25 September 2026: 3.8404 PLN per dollar and 4.375 PLN per euro. Prices checked 26 September 2026.

UnitsChatLab Basic + hotel integrationsChatLab StandardSupalobby Autopilot
1 unit18 + 30 = 48 USD, about 184 PLN95 USD, about 365 PLN49 PLN, about 13 USD or 11 EUR
3 units48 USD95 USD147 PLN, about 38 USD or 34 EUR
10 units48 USD95 USD490 PLN, about 128 USD or 112 EUR

Basic with the hotel add-on is website chat with live availability, 2 chatbots and 2,400 credits, which ChatLab reckons is about 480 conversations a month; it has no WhatsApp and no Email Copilot. Standard adds WhatsApp, one Email Copilot mailbox, voice models, 5 chatbots and 11,000 credits. A credit is one bot reply; stronger models burn 3 or 5 credits a reply.

Up to three units Supalobby Autopilot costs less than ChatLab's cheapest hotel setup. From four units, 196 PLN, Basic with integrations is cheaper, and from eight, 392 PLN, so is Standard. The money buys different things: at ChatLab, chat, WhatsApp and phone for several properties on one account; at Supalobby, the portal messages ChatLab does not handle.

With the phone, the bill works out like this:

  1. ChatLab Standard with a phone slot is 95 + 29 = 124 USD, about 476 PLN or 109 EUR, plus the number from your SIP provider, paid separately.
  2. Minutes come out of the same 11,000 credits as the chat. On Gemini Live, 15 credits a minute, the pool covers about 733 minutes; on OpenAI Realtime, 30 credits, 366. That is the ceiling if the chat uses nothing.
  3. Supalobby Autopilot with Voice for one unit is 49 + 129 = 178 PLN, about 41 EUR, with a Polish number and 30 minutes, then 2.99 PLN a minute.

Which one for whom

ChatLab, when you run a hotel, resort or several properties with your own website and a booking engine on Mews, Beds24, Hotres or IdoBooking, and the goal is direct sales. The guest asks on your site or on WhatsApp, the agent quotes the rate and sends them to book without a portal commission. One account covers several properties, so it gets cheaper as you grow.

Supalobby, when most guests arrive through Booking.com and Airbnb, or through Slowhop and Aloha Camp if you host in Poland, and that is where the reply has to go, in the thread that already exists. When you want one inbox for everything, draft mode to start with, and a price that grows with your units rather than in plan jumps.

Both rarely makes sense, because both have a website chat and WhatsApp. The exception: a property on Mews, Beds24 or IdoBooking, which Supalobby does not read, keeps ChatLab for availability in the website chat and hands portal messages to Supalobby. Then leave Supalobby's website chat off so you do not run two widgets.

Check for yourself

Ask ChatLab whether VAT is added to the dollar prices, and whether a local-currency price list exists: IdoBooking quoted "from 160 PLN net" in March 2026, while today's dollar list comes to about 184 PLN for the same setup. Check that your booking system is among the connected ones rather than a custom API job. If you want the phone, price the SIP number and the credit burn per minute before comparing with Supalobby's Voice add-on. If anything here is out of date, tell us at kontakt@supalobby.com and we will fix it and update the date.

Frequently asked questions

How much does ChatLab cost for a hotel or holiday rentals?

On the price list checked 26 September 2026 the cheapest hotel setup is Basic at 18 USD a month plus 30 USD for the tourism and hotel integrations, 48 USD in total. Standard at 95 USD includes those integrations, WhatsApp and Email Copilot. Premium is 360 USD. Paid plans have a 7-day trial, and yearly billing gives two months free.

Does ChatLab answer Booking.com and Airbnb messages?

No. ChatLab lists four channels, which are website chat, WhatsApp, voice with a phone line, and e-mail drafts. Booking.com, Airbnb, Instagram, Slowhop and Aloha Camp are not among them, so those messages stay with you. Supalobby receives them in one inbox and answers; on Airbnb it drafts the reply and you send it with one click.

Which booking systems does ChatLab connect to?

Seven, on its hospitality page, namely Zuu Works, Hotres, NFHotel, IdoBooking, KWHotel, Mews and Beds24, with Previo and Hostfully added in the July 2026 update. Anything else ChatLab connects through an API during onboarding. The agent quotes availability and rates and sends the guest to book on your own site. Supalobby reads Beddesk, HotRes and IdoBooking and creates bookings in them.

How does ChatLab charge for phone calls?

You need a phone slot. One comes with Premium at 360 USD; on Standard it is a 29 USD monthly add-on. You bring your own number from a SIP provider such as Zadarma. Minutes come out of your message credits, from 15 credits a minute on Gemini Live to 30 on OpenAI Realtime. Supalobby Voice is 129 PLN, about 29 EUR, with a Polish number and 30 minutes.

Who is better served by ChatLab?

A hotel, resort or group of properties with its own website and booking engine on Mews, Beds24, Hotres or IdoBooking, where guests ask before booking and the goal is direct sales without portal commission. One ChatLab account covers several properties, so at ten units Standard at 95 USD costs less than Supalobby Autopilot at 490 PLN, about 128 USD.
